If you didn't know better you'd say the champion was flirting with you, but that couldn't be right. He is The Champion, and you are his brother's best friend.
"Haha, I'm sure you say that to all the girls." You laugh and brush off the compliment.
But his amber eyes are serious as he puts his drink down, and leans over to tuck a lock of hair behind your ear. His touch is electric and you feel the jolt in your core. You've had dreams like this, you've imagined every scenario and every way a man was meant to know a woman. You're convinced you're misreading the situation but you want this so desperately you almost don't care.
Leon must sense some of your inner turmoil, because he leans back out of your space, and suddenly you can think again. You lift your drink, hand shaking, and gulp the cherry cola, suddenly wishing you'd ordered something alcoholic.
